The Forum for Air quality Modelling (FAIRMODE) is a joint response action of the European Environment Agency (EEA) and the European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC). Its aim is to bring together air quality modellers and users in order to promote and support the harmonised use of models by EU member countries, with emphasis on their application to the European Air Quality Directive.
The next FAIRMODE plenary is now scheduled for 29 - 30 May, 2012. The venue will be Utrecht, hosted by TNO. The preliminary agenda can be consulted here.
The FAIRMODE guidance document: "Modelling of Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) for air quality assessment and planning relevant to the European Air Quality Directive" is now available as an ETC/ACM Technical Paper.
Stakeholder Expert Group meeting on Thematic Strategy on Air Pollution. The draft document is now available: "Draft recommendations from FAIRMODE to the review of the EU Air Quality Policy".
